Yoga Rush - Mandi Von Alkier

About Mandi Von Alkier

I discovered and immersed myself in yoga 7 years ago to help some dance injuries and found it healed my body and mind. I love to incorporate my dance background into my Yoga, combining the healing aspects of Yoga with the artistic expressive components of Dance. I enjoy being creative, having fun and flowing with the breath. During my 13 years of teaching, I have taught dancers, skaters, gymnasts, Cross fit members and school children in Canada and Australia.

A little bit more about me:

I’ve spent the last 5 years traveling the world teaching and taking yoga classes.

I have my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and would one day love to take my Masters and study how Yoga and breath affects the brain.

Education:

Education: 200 YTT, Degree in Psychology, World Traveller

I return to my desk feeling elated, much more clear-headed, and better able to focus on the rest of my day.
